Dana de Vega graduated from Pratt Institute in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design.
She has a focused background in housewares and decor and currently works for Home Essentials and Beyond as the Lead Senior Designer. She has been employed by Earthbound, working exclusively for Better Homes & Gardens, designing dinnerware, candle accessories, and wall clocks. Earlier in her career she also worked for Springs Global, Ecco Design, as well as shoe design at Kingo Shoes in 2011.
Dana's Boiler Drain Valve Pepper Mills were approved by the Board of New York's Museum of Modern Art. The design was later published in Eric Chan’s 1000 Product Designs book in 2010 and shown at the Chicago Housewares Show in 2012 at the William & Bounds booth.
Dana is versatile & interested in all areas of design. She is positive, efficient and loves learning about different products and creating new ones.
